Under the direction of owner Ann Brown and artistic director Leigh Ann Bender, Ann’s Studio offers a complete curriculum of dance ranging from courses in ballet, tap, jazz, hip hop and acrobatics to a specialized program for preschoolers, age 3 and 4. 

Believing that being a “part of the community” is important, faculty members of the studio have given many hours of their talent to various schools, churches, and charitable organizations in the area. Students of Ann’s Studio of Dance are featured on dance teams, gymnastic teams, cheerleading squads and theatrical shows throughout the city and county.

Ann’s Studio of Dance is the home of the Award Winning ASD Company Dancers, a group of dance students ages 7-18. These students perform at local events and have also performed throughout Europe, Australia, China, the Caribbean, Russia, Japan, and Greece. They have won thousands of dollars in prize money at their competitions throughout the years and have elected to give it to such organizations as the Pediatric Emergency Room at Huntsville Hospital, St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital in Memphis, Tennessee, The Ark, Chi Ho and the Khmer Children’s Foundation in Cambodia.

Many students from our program have gone to college on dance scholarships while others have opened their own successful dance studios. Those seeking professional careers in dance have done so by performing on cruise ships, theme parks, Broadway shows and the Rockettes at Radio City Music Hall in New York.
